I love the look of a crisp white collar peaking out of a gray or black sweater.  It’s polished and professional, but looks chic, modern, and fashionable all the while.  

This trench coat will surely cheer you up on a rainy day.  It’s a classic that should be in everyone’s wardrobe.  It works great for work since you can typically fit a suit jacket or blazer under it without too much added bulk.  It also looks polished and professional for those client meetings and is the perfect spring staple.

I love this bright blue suit by Derek Lam for the spring.  It is fresh and modern and would look amazing for work or for an evening out.  

Alexa Chung looked incredibly chic in this Carven suit she wore to the Big British Invite.  The color is is beautiful against her skin and the cut is tailored perfectly to her.

I love the use of color in this apartment - the different shades of green, blue, and red are so fresh and vibrant.  I hope to incorporate those same beautiful rich colors in my spring wardrobe, whether it’s in a small jeweled accent or a silk blouse.  It also has me thinking about how important layering is - whether in your home or wardrobe.  The draperies, the pillows, and upholstery all seem to tell a story, creating such a unique and timeless look.  

I adore Elie Tahari’s Spring 2013 collection.  The simple tailored dresses are gorgeous for the office, particularly in the bright aquamarine and coral hues.  Check out their sample sale that starts tomorrow and update your work wardrobe with their stylish and wearable looks.  

Warby Parker makes beautiful eyeglasses that are perfect for any stylish working girl.  I love the retro design and simplicity.  It also doesn’t hurt that they are about one third the price of designer eyeglasses.  To top that off, the company donates a pair of glasses to someone in need for every one you buy.  They just came out with a fresh collection of summer glasses so be sure to check them out if you haven’t already.  J.Crew and Amex just invested in the company so I’m excited to watch how they grow! 

It finally feels like Spring so why not dress for it in pretty soft and feminine pastels - particularly loving lavender, seashell pink, buttery yellow, and minty green.

Love this gorgeous yellow jacket for spring - it will brighten up even the rainiest of April days.  Would look amazing with jeans, or a navy or rich camel pencil skirt or tailored slim cut pants.  

Harper’s Bazaar featured lady-like looks for spring like the classic skirt suit.  Stella McCartney and Carven favored suits in bright rich colors of red and navy and paired with pointy heels for a sophisticated and polished look.
